@theafroaussie for admission in the beginning, in the spirit of community & fostering politically educational environment. Ergo, I don’t think they were going around checking everybody’s individual backgrounds & credentials, & I can assuredly say, 2/13

@theafroaussie with the radical vernacular going around, this guy was not waving his military background haphazardly, so stating that he felt safe as an IOF soldier specifically is a total obfuscation of fact. In any case, 3/13

@theafroaussie wristbands were given out as a measure of entry & Zionists got their hands on them, then organizers practiced further exclusivity (with a tighter form of entry, to which Zionists also evaded). During the last few days, 4/13

@theafroaussie it got to the point that they created a vouching system where an organizer/trusted community member had to hand pick you to even donate. At this point, Zionist entry became all put impossible, & the mob attack soon followed. 5/13

@theafroaussie As @afropessimistic importantly stated, the union organizers for university workers (the folks who posted this tweet) & encampment organizers (who were on the ground/many likely students who didn’t even have UCLA affiliated jobs to be union members) 6/13

@theafroaussie are different sets of people, & UAW is conducting interviews & prioritizing Zionist opinions, effectively undermining & betraying the principles of the encampment organizers. 7/13

@theafroaussie As an addendum, I’ll also say I’m a bit older than most of the students, also a Muslim, also Black, also been in/affiliated with Palestinian organizing for over a decade & I think they genuinely misunderstood the savagery of the enemy. 8/13

@theafroaussie in LA particularly, they are a beast of their own. There are so many flavors of Zionist fascism in LA & they’re all extremely vicious. From the Iranian monarchists (Jewish or otherwise), to all of Hollywood, to West Hollywood pinkwashers, etc 9/13

@theafroaussie After Beverly Hills (70% Jewish, likely 100% Zionist fascist neighborhood) saw riots during 2020 BLM uprisings, the city council, HOA, etc formed even tighter relations with the police, like for ex. the Beverly Hilton is surveilled with drones, no kidding 10/13

@theafroaussie So the Zionist mob that attacked the encampment were 100% in active correspondence w/ police before, during, & after the attack. I don’t think younger folks, esp those new to this space, 11/13

@theafroaussie could have anticipated the torrent of violence headed their way, especially in the systematic way it was done (mobs to wear their defenses one night & police delivering the final blow to destroy their encampment the following night) 12/13

@theafroaussie So to the extent that they might be naive or unassuming, that can be constructively criticized and learned from, but I feel the need to defend at least the notion that they would not endorse centering an agent of genocide during the genocide. 13/13
