I am genuinely trying to understand this but you won’t respond to me. I would never refer to a human as melanistic. But I am struggling to see how using this word to describe a color morph of an animal is problematic. If others want to chime in please help me.
And look @theImpeccableG, I know black people already do enough labor, literally everywhere, that it’s not your responsibility to educate every white person on the nuances of institutional racism.
So if thats why you’re quiet then ok. But this is a pretty niche topic and I’m struggling to find think pieces elsewhere. So if someone could educate me that would be great.
And please to everyone else, do not go after this person. Do not tell them they are wrong, or being too sensitive or PC or whatever. That’s not what I want AT ALL. We are not entitled to their time. They’re looking out. Good.
