There are only a few delivery centers in Germany (Hamburg, Neuss, Stuttgart, ? ). I can only speak for Hamburg, but i doubt that the others differ from that.
The delivery center in Hamburg is part of a car delivery company. a HUGE parking lot with a lot
Tesla rented a few lots and a building there. The whole thing is a guarded area and you cannot simply go there. If you buy a tesla you get a permission so you can enter the area.
I've counted deliveries for about 4h today: 5
The last days of june sucked as well, a lot of delivery dates got cancelled or delayed.
The people working in the store are the same working in the delivery center, althought they are 35km away from each other.
ALL the people working there are VERY inexperienced (some are really nice and kind, they jsut dont have a plan) and pretty young.
They often complain about the intransparent mail instructions and that there is no communication explaining how things will go on.

Some are pissed off by the bad quality and the probs they have like freezing screens, some dont have any problem with scratches and simply accept them.

You have a lot of advantages buying a German car in the US, but it is more like a necessary evil in germany to buy a german car, theres not really an alternative.
Japanese and korean models have a really bad design to most of them an no power.

- Delivery centers are operated very cost efficient, no opportunity to safe money there
- bulls will get pissed like hell in 1-2 years
