In the beginning it seemed harmless. Then like some once tiny blob in a horror movie it grew ... and grew ... and grew.

The most important thing about political correctness is that is menacing even its own creators. The deadly logic of entitlement, envy, hatred and mediocrity is corroding everything. Pelosi vs AOC is exhibit A, but there are many more.
This should come as no surprise. In the end Mao turned the Chinese Army on the Red Guards. The Terror ate its own. The really diabolical part about Trump's rhetorical intervention into the Pelosi vs AOC fray is he's forced Pelosi to drink the Kool Aid to demonstrate solidarity.
Glug. Glug. Good? Trump is already beyond the pale. He long ago lost the last shred of establishment respectability to lose. But Pelosi evidently had hopes. The trouble is he's not in there with them. They're in there with him.
The only way for the Dems to destroy Trump is by destroying political correctness themselves. It's PC that gives him this vast power over them. Someday they may realize that. But nah.
Trump is the dual of every absurd, cockamamie bizarro idea in the PC playbook. He's the Woke image in the frequency shifted mirror; the progressive portrait of Dorian Gray come out of the room and sitting down to dinner.
