The two important things to do is learn from someone who is self-made & actually KNOWS what they are doing.
Secondly, network, network & network some more. Your current network will be your future net worth.

Regarding mentors., you got to spend money to make money. The right coach, mentor or co-investor will not be cheap.
Anyone who values their time with expertise — like a top doctor or lawyer — isn’t cheap.
But what you pay per hour will return back to you 10 fold or 100 fold.

Regarding networking my mentor always used to tell me: you got to get amongst it.
In other words, get out of your comfort zone. When it doubt about some seminar, meeting or event — it’s better to go then stay at home.
