We bought an Olympic barbell and 130 lbs of weights yesterday.
And started him on 5x5.
We began with just the bar for each movement.
We will add 5 lbs when he can do 5x5 easily.
So it begins.
Should be a while ;)
In between his squat sets I curled the bar for reps.
Ima work on my vanity muscles as he builds his base.
Win win :)
Now my son has a chance to use his once in a lifetime testosterone boost to make life long gains.
But not as excited as he is.
He bugged me about this for weeks!
Slow slow slow slow slow and steady is the mantra.
