More than 200 temples are submerged inside the famous Hirakud Dam,Sambalpur, Odisha.

150 temples have been destroyed after Decades of underwater existence & only 50 are visible during the Summer when the water recedes .

There is no effect of eclipse in the temple of Mahakal as Swayam Shree Mahakal is beyond time , so there is no obstruction in the temple due to any eclipse, darshan in the temple is not stopped.
