Employers Confederation of the Philippines President Sergio Ortiz-Luis Jr. on assessing the start of PH gov't vaccine drive today: It is ironic that our vaccine rollout started with a donation from China. The others that were delayed will come soon.
ECOP on PH gov't target to vaccinate 2 million Filipinos before relaxing quarantine measures: There are still things that a lot to be done in reviewing protocols, the target is not enough. The IATF must correct some rules that make a lot of people harder to get to work.
ECOP claims that 90% of Filipino want to get vaccinated: They just want to make sure if the vaccines are safe and they want to see gov't officials to take the lead. If no incidents happened in the early vaccination stages, many will come out to get immunized.
ECOP President Ortiz-Luis: I'd rather get vaccinated with a lower efficacy rating but no side effects for older people than those with higher efficacy but have serious side effects.
ECOP: We really want to see our gov't officials to get vaccinated before we take the vaccines.
