I didn't become the man I am today overnight. Many decisions and actions have molded who I am and who I intend to be.
Who do you want to be? Are you taking the necessary steps to get there?
A thread..
When your time comes, what do you want to be remembered for? When your family and friends eulogize you, what do you think they will say? What would you want them to say (unsolicited)?
Start there. This is your personal vision.
25 years from now - what would your ideal life be like?
Between today and this date - you have 9,125 days or 219,000 hours to craft your ideal life.
What do you really want? In 2047, where are you sitting this day? What are you doing? You are feeling what?
10 years from now - much shorter term - life goes fast.
Where are you? Have you started heading towards your 25 year goals? Your life goals? Have you taken steps to achieve your 25 year goals?
Step by step - you reap what you sow
1 year from now-short short term. Are you still out partying? 25 or more years from now - is that you want to be known as? The person who got bottle service? The person who spends everything to please a few people? Is this what you want... 1, 10, 25, or more years from now?
So, starting from today - the past is the past - what will you change? What will you do to achieve these goals? These ambitions? Who will you be in the future and what steps - TODAY - will you take to make that future happen?
Every year, write these down. Revise as needed (note: mine are revised every year...but rarely change)
Instead of hammering on @patrickbitature and the decisions that were made....let's look at the flip side - How can you use this scenario/experience to *MAKE* money!
I encounter a lot of people who want to "move to America" to be a citizen. I don't believe people are fully informed about this - it might be good to understand in a bit more detail.
thread below
Being an American means having privilege - for you, your spouse, and your children.
Never forget that.
There are many advantages, but there are also obligations.
At the age of 18, your male American children are required to sign up for Selective Service - meaning they can be drafted into a war. If you are under the age of 25, you must register too!
