Most Anti Virus softwares run as an application independently of the Windows operating system core software kernel- the engine that runs Microsoft windows.

Thats true of ALL versions, since before Windows XP, through Vista, Windows 7, Windows 10 & now current Windows 11.

Unfortunately, CrowdStrike’s ‘anti-virus’ software is sloppily coded.

In plain english, it’s written incredibly sloppily in how its set up & in the lines of software code that make it. Its also not thoroughly tested. Its a mediocre, borderline scamware product.

Right now, you’re asking “well, what the hell? Then why do so many companies & entities use it?” You already know the answer: @RogerJStoneJr alluded to it & he’s partly right.

@RogerJStoneJr CrowdStrikes origins as a company are former Mueller/Comey FBI people. People who…over promise & under deliver on the product they deliver. Like most government people, particularly Secret Police people.

@RogerJStoneJr Take a good look at Peter Strzok. He was profoundly incompetent & stupid; yet he rose to great heights— BECAUSE OF THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS. He was POLITICALLY RELIABLE & made the right friends.

@RogerJStoneJr That is your answer HOW: CrowdStrike founders & corp people are *politically & socially connected* and anyone in the Govt sphere can tell you this makes all the difference in getting contracts. In corporate or public sector America.

@RogerJStoneJr The CrowdStrike issue results from in laymans terms, the main piece of its software that interfaces between its software & windows. It was sloppily coded & it breaks the core of windows.

@RogerJStoneJr The fix is not altogether hard, but it us something that is…you should NEVER have to go into windows c:\system files & delete something. Ever. Thats a big hat tip for sloppiness, lack of testing, incompetence.

@RogerJStoneJr Peter Strzok level incompetence. The SCOPE of this problem isnt nefarious in nature i dont think; its a downstream by product of corruption/ CrowdStrike pimping its connections to get contracts.

@RogerJStoneJr Think about this from a *business* perspective now; all those companies that relied on that networking & resume pimping to award CrowdStrike contracts. All look stupid & foolish for choosing them now including the company **I** work for.

@RogerJStoneJr And CrowdStrike itself who now stand to loose a metric fuckton of repeat business to competitors & who’s reputation is further tarnished.
