SitRep - 10/10/24 - Zelensky on tour through Europe

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Zelensky is travelling through Europe, Feodosia oil facility keeps burning and drones hit the "Khanskaya" military airfield in Russia.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We include footage of visually confirmed damaged or destroyed Russian equipment and/or personnel.
Overnight, over 40 Shahed drones were shot down and an additional 14 were taken out with the help of EW.
Overnight, Ukraine struck a military airfield in Russia, inflicting damage.
The GUR released footage of drones attacking the airfield. Bobr drones were used.
Russia lost an Mi-8 helicopter on the Kharkiv front
More info became known about the Ukrainian attack on a Shahed warehouse in Russia. 45 Shaheds, 108 warheads and 4.5 tons of fuel were destroyed.
Feodosia is still burning and new tanks are exploding.
In Russia, a training combat aircraft crashed.
A MT-LB (not a Msta-S, correction) destroyed on the Pokrovsk front.
Burned Russian equipment, likely by Ukrainian dragon drones (thermite drones)
Lets continue with the general events. Ukraine has repaired all of its NPP's and is ready for winter. Let's hope they are now better protected from ballistic missile attacks.
Russia lures Africans under false conditions into Russia and puts them to work at Shahed manufacturing factories.
More and more stories coming out, claiming that North Korean military personnel are already actively working with Russian forces against Ukraine.
President Zelensky visited London for meetings with NATO's new Secretary General Rutte and UK Prime Minister Starmer.
During the visit it became known that the UK might send troops to Ukraine to train Ukrainian military.
More UK supplied AS-90 howitzers will arrive by the end of the year.
Shortly after, Zelenskyi flew to France to meet with Macron.
Norway wants to increase its defense production capacity, including for Ukraine.
At this moment, Zelensky is in Rome where he met with Meloni. Later he will meet with the Pope.
Serbia signed a declaration supporting Ukraine, condemning Russia's actions in Ukraine and supporting Ukraine's sovereignty.

Kursk region - Lyubimovka area

Russians managed to further advance near Lyubimovka and have reached Zelenyi Shlyakh. Furthermore there are Russian claims of multiple breakthroughs in other area's but this is unconfirmed until now.

In a rapid offensive during the last 48 hours, anti-government rebels in northern Syria have captured dozens of villages. Most important: they have entered -and already claim control over- Aleppo, the second largest city in Syria.

A thread is opened to cover the most important events.
Syrian General Maher al-Assad, brother of President Bashar al-Assad, just said that troop gathering is finished within hours and that the SAA (Syrian Arab Army) will not allow Aleppo to fall. Image
Rebels have seized the Political Security Department building in Aleppo. Meanwhile there are reports of new rebel convoys entering the western part of the city.
