I always say I started trading in the year 2000. I have realized that it is the year I started trading as an adult for myself. I joined my parents even before I was 10. I was the one that opened our ice cream shop on Saturdays and my parents would come later.
Myself and my mum in our ice cream shop in the early 80s. I was less than 10 years hereImage I was part of the business. I knew what was sold, how much was sold. I helped with counting monies. I knew of the purchases. I used to follow my Dad to train station in kano to collect his goods. Sometimes two or more carriages were our goods and I used to love seeing them offload

When it comes to education in Nigeria we need to face the reality. What is paid in universities is far too little.

I believe higher institutions should be autonomous.

Government should focus on good quality early, primary and secondary education. They should be FREE Primary and secondary school is where the real learning take place. Higher institutions are for specialization.

So it is important for government to ensure every citizen has not only access to good quality education but it is compulsory for every child to receive it

OPM backfired on me this year!

For those who follow my financial literacy talk you know I talk a lot about OPM which means Other People’s Money! For my business I use OPM. I don’t leave any of my monies in my businesses. Part of the OPM I use is Bank Guarantee. This year I was busy with elections and neglected my business 🥺
Bank Guarantee expired and I didn’t make adequate arrangement for money I will be using to pick goods before a new Bank Guarantee is issued!

The nonsense of married women going about harassing those they call side chicks need to be dealt with. What nonsense is this? You go beat up a lady and video her naked? Then post it online? What manner of rubbish is all that? Why not face your good for nothing husband? If your husband has any respect for you he would respect the vows you took. If he decides to go chasing after other women then what is the business of the women with you? Na as dem chase you dem dey chase dem.
And you side chick, why sit down & take nonsense from woman like you?

Presidential campaign is EXPENSIVE! It needs billions! Can we raise 100 billion?

Can Peter Obi @PeterObi set up an account, Gofundme, mobile payment for donations to start?
There must be stringent measures to ensure accountability and transparency

#100BillionForPOCampaign The biggest factor the average politician has is either money or access to money. I believe with Peter Obi the people have to contribute that money. There is no State money that Peter Obi will be dependent on or even state machinery.

Dear Citizens,
Getting good governance, accountability and transparency is about ensuring excuses are not made for anyone and no justification of things to suit a narrative.
We must question even ourselves!
The excuse that many Nigerians think that way is never a good reason! Many Nigerians are not on the ballot paper. Many Nigerians are not asking you to vote for them. Neither are many Nigerians going to hold sensitive positions.

I walked into the Eid ground an extremely sad person. For the first time ever I was alone going to the female section
No daughter, no sisters, no in-laws, no nieces, no mother, no mother-in-law. We sometimes used to use two vehicles to go to Eid.
The insecurity is taking its toll As the first child I have played the role of not just sibling but parent to all my siblings and my house is a rallying centre. Holidays, sallahs etc the house is filled with people. My children had the best of extended family. The house was always filled.
Now people can't travel.

@toluogunlesi I am ready to "reason" with you on this.
#APCandPDPSamePartyWithTwoOffices is not about the people in them. It is about how they act.
1) APC & PDP have competent candidates in their parties but they always choose the worst to give tickets to.
Tinubu & Atiku are egs You will agree with me that Atiku and Tinubu are not the most competent in both PDP and APC but they emerged with the party tickets.
That's why we say #APCandPDPSamePartyWithTwoOffices

Dear Nigerian Youth
They are doing the same thing they did during #EndSars, put you on the defensive! Just like they started accusing the protesters of the violence they instigated
You are not responsible for any supposed Peter Obi supporter attacking anyone.
Focus on campaign! The strategy is to keep you explaining yourself and distracted while you lose ground on the momentum that is building.
Anyone telling you that they will not support Peter Obi because of abusive online supporters is not worth wasting time on.
Meet those who are undecided and open

Read this thread and you will know that many Nigerians do not want to be citizens. They just want to be slaves with PRIVILEGES! They are looking for emperor by all means!
I totally agree with @adeyanjudeji !
@PeterObi has more business being in Ekiti than Egypt! This is time for campaign! While campaigning for others you are campaigning for yourself. This is the time of building that structure of the people. Get a hold on the party!
The worst thing that can happen to a politician is to assume that all is 'easy peasy' but it is not!

Imagine if IPOB work with APGA to control the political power in the South East? Bring the best candidates to be nominated. Show the rest of us how people with competence, character and capacity in leadership position can change a region.
Use the power to negotiate at Fed level An APGA/IPOB alliance can bring the South East together politically. Instead of IPOB wasting it's goodwill on giving sit at home orders they can make it nominate and vote credible candidates "order"

Political power is everything!
Without it you are a pawn to be treated anyhow

I have learnt now how important it is to document my thoughts here. Here we go!
PDP current strategy of attacking people for the choices they made in 2015 is pathetic at best especially now you are telling them to do the same as you will be beneficiaries Telling people that they should have remembered Buhari's government of 1984 and that he wouldn't have changed is the same as telling people that they should remember your government of 2014 and you also will not change.

Most critical of PDP when?
It helps you if you are looking for how issues are rather than how you would have loved issues to be. Stop listening to yourselves. Listen to those outside.
Citizens who have no loyalty to parties are the deciders and 2019 they stayed out! You abuse people's sensibilities when you come shouting that they are not the same. It might be endearing to your fellow party members but the citizens who were on the receiving end are not so endeared. Many might not talk but will decide on the election day.
By not voting!

Politicians are doing all they can to keep the people under their control and religion is an effective way. So all that hisbah is doing is to make the poor calm so that they can endure all the hardship while believing that the ideal Islamic world is being made for them. Where was hisbah during Ganduje's daughters wedding? Yet they were available to cut a young man's hair.
Where is hisbah when the children of the rich are having their decadent parties? Where is hisbah when it comes to the videos of @GovUmarGanduje allegedly pocketing millions of$

My mother's immediate junior brother told my mother and myself in the presence of my grandmother his mum that we will die in poverty and wretched. He said a lot of nasty things to my mum that he had been saying to me that I never told my mum. I was living with him then and in JS3 I will never forget how my mum wept bitterly. This was a man my mum practically raised. When he got married he couldn't afford rent and lived with us. When he started a daycare centre and school my parents invested in in for him. When poverty struck us he became nasty!

On January 1st 2012 fuel subsidy was removed and for me it was the best News ever! Finally, the govt was doing something right!
My support for the removal of subsidy was the reason I never joined #OccupyNigeria protest. I saluted the Nigerians that did
#BuhariFuelSubsidyScam I saluted the Nigerians that did, because for the first time, I saw Nigerians uniting and making demands like I have never seen before except during the 1993 elections

The moment you are in public space you must learn to not take personal what people say or do to you. Some it might be because of the misinformation they have, some it might be because they want to protect their interests and some it is plain childishness and silliness. There are things that people will say to me and have said that I wave off. Why?! Because I chose to be in the public space and that made me to take responsibility for whatever is thrown at me.

I married a man not a little boy playing at being a man. My husband is the most practising feminist that I know. We have the same values and that makes things extremely easy. We have mutual respect for each other. He doesn't see me as handler of the house, he sees us as handlers My husband constantly asks how can he make things easy for me and I also do the same for him. Instead of assigned roles we do that which is our strength.
I don't know how the cooking gas in my house gets replaced. He didn't know when the kids(now young adults) wrote their exams
