Per @bopinion: "In a tour de force of hard won reporting, the New York Times has put numerical clothing on what we’ve known about President Trump for years:

He’s a haphazard businessman, human billboard and serial bankruptcy artist" trib.al/hggQz0K "But @TimOBrien wants us to focus on what the tax returns reveal about Trump as president. Because of his:

✅Indebtedness
✅Reliance on overseas income
✅Refusal to distance himself from his business

Trump represents a profound national security threat" trib.al/hggQz0K

Its so weird watching TV and movies where people are living and interacting like things use to be. I miss those times. Its so hard to watch pre covid TV or movies without thinking, "what are they doing, thats way to close, they are sharing [food, cups, anything], its an indoor event RUN!" Just to be clear that is all TV and movies, I dont think much of anything has been produced in the covid era.

Are cover letters still a thing? Does anyone in HR or hiring actually read cover letters? I have nothing to say relative to my competency. Sure if you are a tech company looking to find a work-culture fit I guess get wanting to know "about me." But law firms, wouldn't you rather just have a legal writing sample?

Someone has been shot at the protests in Portland. The Proud Boys and counter protesters have been clashing all day in the city center. Its only just after 9 PM on the West Coast. This is going to be a long night. Thread:
Whats more a car targeting anti Proud Boy protesters in Portland just spend through the crowd, just like in Charlottesville. Thankfully, it looks like people were able to get out of the way.

Carter Centre to launch 1st-ever US election initiative.

“Until the last 10 years, we wouldn’t have thought of the US in that category. But it’s been increasingly the view of the CC that the state of democracy in the US has been eroding.” independent.co.uk/news/world/ame… "We are now at a point where we have taken an institutional decision to explore some direct engagement on US election issues. And this is a departure from our whole history trying not to do that”

Last night was Trump's true Friday Night Massacare. Last night Trump's Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy, removed 23 USPS executives and 2 of the top executives. He is sabotaging thr election.

(DeJoy owns b/w $30 to $77 million in assets in USPS competitors)washingtonpost.com/business/2020/… 🚨 The fact that Postmaster General DeJoy owns so many $10s of millions in USPS competitors and contractors makes him the perfect person to sabotage the USPS for Trump. Now, it can simply be claimed DeJoy did it our of pur financial corruption instead of political corruption.

Elections are not delayed in America, that is how dictatorships work. Instead of working to make vote by mail work better (it already works) Trump is trying to undermine the USPS. The current Postmaster General who gave the Trump campaign $1.2 million is working hard on that. If kids can go to school adults of voting age can put something in the mail or put a ballot in a dropbox.

This is all totally normal for 2020:
Kanye West running for president under—the Birthday Party—with guidance from Elon Musk and an obscure VP candidate he’s already chosen.

“Like anything I’ve ever done in my life,” says West, “I’m doing to win.”
forbes.com/sites/randalll… - Kanye West no longer supports President Trump. “I am taking the red hat off, with this interview.”

- That he was sick with Covid-19 in February.

- That he’s suspicious of a coronavirus vaccine, terming vaccines “the mark of the beast.”
