I want to address this with a few facts on how heat impacts the human body. The body tries to maintain an internal temperature of around 37c. As the environment warms up, the body tends to warm up as well.
This kicks several processes into gear

Your heart begins to work harder, pumping more blood into the skin. Sweat production ramps up to cool you down as it evaporates.
If you gain more heat than you lose though, your body temperature begins to rise & you run the risk of developing illness as a result

Thought i'd do another update now models are firming up on what looks to be a fairly significant cold spell for the time of year. Where are we currently sitting & what's the likely evolution?

Atmospheric Angular Momentum has surged into +ve territory led by the 'off the charts' East Asian Mountain Torque (EAMT) event. +ve MT essentially takes momentum away from earths rotation & puts it into the atmosphere, i.e, stronger overall westerly winds within the budget.
