Bhartrhari Gufa
In one of my recent thread, I wrote about the great literary work of Shatak Tray by Bhartrhari.
Now let us have a look at place where he did his extreme penance
After being cheated by his one of the most beloved wife, Pingala, king Bhartrhari gave all his kingdom to his younger brother the great Vikramaditya, & renounced the world by attaining diksha from Gorakhnath ji of nath samprday.
It is believed that at the behest of Guru Gorakhnath, King Bhartrhari did severe penance for years in this cave. It is located in a secluded area on the banks of the Kshipra River, at a short distance from the main town of ujjain.

Chausath Yogini Temple, near the famous Marble Rocks in Jabalpur, houses idols of 64 attendants of Goddess Durga, having the idol of Lord Shiva at the centre, surrounded by these idols.
Originally, there would have been a shrine, right at the centre of this structure, with an image of Bhairava. Today, in the sanctum stands an exquisite image of Uma-Maheshwara, seated together in an embrace.
Very interestingly, there are 81 niches holding images of the Yoginis here. Therefore, technically, this isn’t a Chausath (64) Yogini temple, but an 81-Yogini Temple.

The origin of the worship of Lord Ganesha can be gathered from ancient Hindu scriptures, the Vedas. Such refrence can be seen in RigVeda with the invocations of Ganpati
नि षु सीद गणपते गणेषु त्वामाहुर्विप्रतमं कवीनाम् । न ऋते त्वत्क्रियते किं चनारे महामर्कं मघवञ्चित्रमर्च ।।
(ऋग्वेद, म.१०, सु.११२,मंत्र०९)
Lord Ganpati..!!! We urge you to vest in the midst of us who praise you. You are intelligent-omniscient among all knowledged ones..
...No good work is started without you...!!! Accept this venerable prayer of ours.
