The unanimous agreement of the Council of Senior Scholars on acting and depicting the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with all of them ), as follows:
1.(a) Allaah (may He be glorified and exalted), praised the Sahaabah and affirmed their high status.
1.(b) Presenting the life story of #any one of them in the form of a #play or #movie is contrary to Allaah’s praise of them and detracts from the high status and honour that Allaah (may He be exalted), granted them.
2.(a) Depicting any one of them may expose them to mockery and belittling by people who for the most part are #not righteous and are far #removed from piety and Islaamic conduct in their public lives.
1) Celebrating and holding the occasion of mid-sha`baan (Shabb-e Baraat):
"It is not permissible to celebrate the occasion of Laylat al-Qadr or any other night, or to hold celebrations on other occasions such as the night of the fifteenth of Sha‘baan, the night of the Mi‘raaj...
2) or the Prophet’s birthday (Mawlid) and so on, because these are innovations that have been introduced into the religion and were not narrated from the Prophet (may peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) or any of his Companions.
3) And he (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) said, “Whoever does an action that is not part of this matter of ours (i.e., Islaam) will have it rejected.” And it is not permissible to help others to hold these celebrations by giving money or gifts...
