I have a story? @AnneHirvonen1Where's @Ankian4 ? Might as well get a giggle from her too? When I was little, I built a big sandcastle on the beach. It was a work of art, for a little guy like this... #TBT Me, as a baby. Nothing to describe. I was adorable then also
My sister was building a sandcastle too, I didn't really notice, she was bigger than me, she could carry bigger buckets of sand. SUDDENLY, without warning, she came over and kicked my sandcastle over. SMASHED IT UP COMPLETELY
(I cried <sniff>)
When I stopped crying, there was going to be *heck to pay*, and I stomped over to her sandcastle, as she dared me to retaliate. And so I did it. I put everything I had into that kick, right through the center of the tower..

We never got a lot of hurricanes when I was growing up, our first big one in this area, was Hurricane Juan 2003 was bad. Before that, nothing significant since Beth in the 70s while I was at home.
Hurricane Juan took down a lot of trees. The pulsating took out my fences on the windward side, but still took out all the protected fencing around the back too. All collapsed. Lost my greenhouse (again) and minor house damage (compared to most people)
The trouble is, those trees that were lost, were the buffer zone, that cushioned severe storms many times before. Now, regular storms were producing funneled winds with greater strength. Some casual storms are more severe than past hurricanes on what is left of trees

I remember the Bunker, most wartime bunkers were cleared, blown up, or buried. We had found a small hole, and dug our way inside. (CFB Baden–Soellingen/Flugplatz-SΓΆllingen

Some changes in view, on Hugie backroad. (That's the town of HΓΌgelsheim that connected to Canadian housing area though farm roads). Over where that house roof is being built, we use to bring Night Crawlers up by putting 220volts across the back lawn. I don't know how we survived? A church steeple on the lef...
I had lived here just over 10 years ago, returned once before, but actually had a week to wait for a flight back to Canada again. This time, I could even rent a vehicle. They didn't have that option before. I rented a VW Van. Went to see Supertramp, Joe Cocker and Chris de burgh Joe Cocker (the singer) on ...

"Kiss From A Seal" Wave back @EcuadorDon , there wasn't a nibble on the fishing line until we were too far at sea, then only fish so tiny, we had to throw them all back. #NotAFishingLie 10.5 inch min, /2 Ocean with trees on an island in the distance. Right in fron

Well, we could not possibly have been lost, someone found this spot before, and left a marker. The deer kept the trail open, it was really just a survey line cut out years ago.
Still haven't found the lake, but we are going again soon, on another route. I'll #thread the 1st part A rough white post, about 5 inches square, chiseled letters
I heard about a private road (used by ATVs) that ran off out-of-view of the highway, so we started this #Hiking trip from there. This was the easiest walking area. There's a lot more to see in trails than have been recorded or shared. #WAYCTV DESTINATION: google.com/maps/@44.96207… Typical two rut private logging road. The Maple is the first to don her Fall #fashion attire. The Red has been coming out before September this year.
