Should we Look closely at #coronil as cause of #mucormycosis post #Covid19 ?

Diversity of Surface Mycoflora on Tinospora Cordifolia #Giloy (main content of coronil)

Giloy has mucor & other fungi on its surface

Giloy has iron & zinc researchgate.net/publication/30…
Mucormycetes, the group of fungi that cause #mucormycosis, are present throughout the environment, particularly in soil and in association with decaying organic matter, such as leaves, compost piles, and animal dung

An endophyte is an endosymbiont, often a bacterium or fungus, that lives within a plant for at least part of its life cycle without causing apparent disease. #giloy #endophytes #fungal

#Covid19 tips

⏺ 90% have mild covid19 & recover at home - isolate at home for 10 days and take paracetamol and/or ibrufen for fever & body ache

⏺ 10% develop in week 2 new fevers or breathing difficulty ( 6 minute walk test) or oxygen levels < 90% - get checked up
1/2 #Covid19 tips

⏺ those with breathing difficulty need CT scan and blood tests and initiation of low dose steroids as per doctor orders ( No self medication ) - most can still be managed at home

⏺ those who need oxygen need to be admitted- most recover
1/3 #Covid19 Tips

For Admitted covid19 patients

#Plasma therapy has no benefit

#Remdesvir has no benefit in improving outcomes

⏺ d-dimer high level is predictor of mortality

⏺ in severe covid prophylactic anticoagulation may help prevent clotting

1/1 #Covid19 #Ddimer

D-dimer (or D dimer) is a fibrin degradation product (or FDP), a small protein fragment present in the blood after a blood clot is degraded by fibrinolysis

It is so named because it contains two D fragments of the fibrin protein joined by a cross-link

Why Get Tested?

To help rule out clotting (thrombotic) episodes and to help diagnose conditions related to thrombosis

When To Get Tested?

When you have symptoms of a blood clot or a condition that causes blood clots, such as

To monitor treatment
1/3 #Covid19 and D-Dimer

Covid19 mostly is mild

Moderate to severe Covid19 leads to excessive immune activation about a week to 10 days after onset of illness

Excessive immune activation damaged lungs causing breathing difficulty and increased risk of clotting

Hopefully one day #WHO would finally accept that #SARSCoV2 is a biological weapon 🦠 produced in lab causing this #COVID19Pandemic and #Genocide

And culprits would be punished

World can’t go on without questioning what is unfolding right in front of our eyes !
RaTG13 differs from related coronaviruses in a part of its anatomy crucial to its ability to spread & sicken us: precise site where two subunits of the spike protein meet

Technical, logical & human hubris: 🦠 behind COVID is so perfect a weapon that someone must have created it
The high number and severe nature of the mutations in RaTG13 are too unlike those of its coronavirus cousins to have occurred naturally

Experts estimate it would have taken at least 50 years for bat virus to have mutated itself into SARS-CoV-2.

Genome sequences are 96.1% alike

Developed by the Institute of Nuclear Medicine Allied Sciences, a lab of DRDO, in collaboration with @drreddys this new drug called #2DG (2-deoxy-D-glucose) helps #Covid19 patients recover faster & also reduces their dependence on oxygen

Reports claim that this drug selectively accumulates in infected cells and cuts off the energy supply to the virus

Therefore, the virus cannot multiply automatically, which helps in reducing the infection and the viral load gradually
1/1 DGCI which has given emergency approval has to show trial data

Here are few articles I could find on usage of #2DG in #covid19
