Comparing 2022 and 2023 in current prices, services imports grew by 19% from Non-EU and 23% from EU countries. Exports grew 13% to non-EU countries, and 16% to EU countries.
This maintains the trend over the past five years where the volume of annualised services export growth has been relatively ‘normal’ compared with G7 countries (+2.8% UK growth vs +2.3% G7 average), while annualised goods growth has been lagging (-1.7% vs +0.3% G7 average).

"Loanwords prove we're the same" the same Arabic loanwords exist in very significant amounts in Spanish and Hindi too.
Ataturk was not only highly educated but also he was LITERATE. In 1927 the overall literacy rate in Turkey was below 10%. In other words, the impact of Perso-Arabic vocabulary was limited to the written Turkish and it was hardly expanded to spoken Turkish.
