“With collective faith we can change the world, we can create more justice in the world” #BryanStevenson

Wow. #BryanStevenson tells us 640% increase of women incarcerated in last 25 years

First solution for more justice, we must get proximate to poor and excluded, to truly be an agent of change and show God’s mercy, there is power in proximity. #BryanStevenson

#BryanStevenson talks about his experiences getting proximate with inmates on death row.

He says he learned that our ability to get to “higher ground” is dependent upon whether we all help one another get to “higher ground”.

Second thing we need to do is to question and change the narratives so that they aren’t driven by fear and anger.

Fear and anger are the ingredients of inequality. #BryanStevenson

We can’t create a just society until we talk about racial inequality.

“Third, we must stay hopeful. ..Our hope is our super power. Fight against the things that make you feel hopeless.” #BryanStevenson

“It takes courage to stay hopeful” #BryanStevenson

“Fourth, the most final key is we must do things that are uncomfortable.

Good people must make the choice to get uncomfortable.” #BryanStevenson

“The broken can teach us how mercy works. There is no problem in being broken when you try and change the world.” #BryanStevenson
