@kojoshow Regarding AirBnB, #DC needs a clear regulatory scheme that protects the safety of residents and visitors and maintains our supply of housing.

@kojoshow OAG also continues to use all of the tools available to us to preserve affordable housing for #DC residents, including cracking down on companies that seek to create short-term rental enterprises that ignore District regulations.

@kojoshow Last month, my office announced a civil investigation into whether the Archdiocese of Washington—which is a nonprofit institution—violated the District’s Nonprofit Act by potentially covering up allegations of sexual abuse of minors.

@kojoshow We also launched an online complaint portal for victims of clergy abuse or those with knowledge of such abuse, to report it to OAG: ReportClergyAbusetoDCOAG.com

@kojoshow Reminder: DC law requires adults to report child sex abuse!

If you suspect or know a child under 16 is a victim of sexual abuse, report it immediately to @DCPoliceDept (911) or the @DCCFSA (202-671-SAFE).

@kojoshow @DCPoliceDept @DCCFSA People who regularly work with children, like teachers or doctors, must always report abuse or neglect of ANY KIND for those under 18.

If you don’t, you can be fined up to $1,000, imprisoned for up to 180 days, or both.
