Annie Turcotte (1969): A first-year student, she was studying metallurgical engineering so she could one day improve the environment. She lived with her brother in a small apartment near the university #December6
Annie St-Arneault (1966): A mechanical engineering student from La Tuque, Que., was in her last class before graduation when she died. She had a job interview with Alcan Aluminium scheduled for the following day. #December6
Michèle Richard (1968): A second-year metallurgical engineering student, She was presenting a paper with Maud Haviernick when she was killed. #December6
Sonia Pelletier (1961): A mechanical engineering student and the top of her class, she was the youngest of 8 children. #December6 was her last day of school before graduating.
Anne-Marie Lemay (1967): A fourth-year mechanical engineering student and the eldest of four girls. Longtime friend Jean Blondin said “she had all the talent in the world and a promising future.” #December6
Maryse Laganière (1964): The only non-student killed. She worked in the engineering school's budget department and had recently married. #December6
Barbara Klucznik-Widajewicz (1958): A first-year student, she gave up her career as an economist to study nursing in Canada. She arrived in Montreal from Poland in 1987 #December6
Maud Haviernick (1960): A second-year student in metallurgical engineering, and a graduate in environmental design from the Université du Québec à Montréal #December6
Anne-Marie Edward (1968): Chemical engineering student, was close with her family and loved outdoor sports like skiing and diving #December6
Barbara Daigneault (1967): Was expected to graduate from mechanical engineering at the end of the year. She was a TA for her father, Pierre Daigneault. #December6
Nathalie Croteau (1966): In her final year of mechanical engineering. She planned to take a two-week vacation to Mexico with Hélène Colgan at the end of the month #December6
