Text: Hebrews 5:12-
Spiritual life, like the physical life, needs to grow. There are milestones each child needs to achieve. There is cause for worry if they don't attain it.

When you refuse to grow or unable to grow, you're not offending God or your pastors. But you're limiting yourself when you don't grow.

As long as you're not growing you remain a child. All you own are not giving because you're still a child.

Below are indicators of spiritual growth

1. Increase in knowledge and understanding of God's word.
Is the Bible looking simpler or difficult to understand? do you get more insight when you study the scripture? those are indicators of growth

2. Decrease in your frequency of sin and severity.

Compare how you were before you received Christ. You don't remain stagnant, its either you go forward or backwards.

3. Increase in your Christ like qualities

Are you becoming more like Christ or decreasing in qualities? This is an indicator of growth.

4. increase in faith and trust in God

As you grow spiritually, your faith and trust in God increases as well.

2. Effort, diligence and discipline are absolutely necessary
