Preliminary data from ProGrES with @charlottekb1 @NHSBT_CTU

128 granulocyte transfusions across 97 trusts. 61% patients had AML, 9% MDS. Is this a growing population who may benefit? #BSH2019

34% had lung infections which some worry maybe worsened if GTX cause pulmonary reactions #BSH2019

Patients received between 1 and 16 infusions, with average dose of 0.2 x10^9/kg (too low!!) and a transfusion every 1.25 days on average. Are we under dosing? #BSH2019

Only 3 patients stopped GTX due to adverse effects. 42% clinicians felt GTX had no effect on outcome; 50% felt they improved the patient’s outcome #BSH2019
