The implosion was originally planned for last Sunday, but postponed b/c a triathlon and the since-canceled MacArthur Causeway shoot for #BadBoys3 had the same timing in this always-congested area.
Traffic is now stopped between 5-7 Streets on west side of Miami Beach...
Great spot for us east of the implosion by @WilliamRDamas !Construction guys tell me the light wind is blowing west.. toward the bay, but also toward a condo balcony where another @WPLGLocal10 crew is staged on the balcony. Uh-oh @TrentKellyWPLG !

Highrise condos right next to the demolition site are built in place of the historic Biscaya Hotel that was, yup, imploded in 1987. The @WolfsonArchives have great video:
