Did you know?
There is no relation between the “Wailing Wall” and Herod’s Temple in Jerusalem? Jerusalem and the Temple were so thoughtful destroyed in 70 AD that the famed Jewish historian Josephus wrote:
“Jerusalem ... was so thoroughly razed to the ground by those that demolished it to its foundations, that nothing was left that could ever persuade visitors that it had once been a place of habitation."
Rome then built a city fort on the cite of Jerusalem and called it
Aelia Capitolina. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aelia_Cap…. Aelia Capitolina was built on ruins as Jerusalem had been razed by the Rome.
Christians and Jews display a tremendous amount of navitee by believing that the “Wailing Wall” was part of Herod’s Temple.
Indeed, the prophesy of
Christ regarding the Temple was clear, “not one stone shall remain upon another”. Not one stone. Archeologists agree that the W-Wall are the remains of the Roman City Aelia Capitolina and that the historical tie to the Temple is not based on historical evidence. Think about
that factor next time you visit Jerusalem. Zionists and temple advocates praying at the wall, are rally praying at the ruins of Aelia Capitolina! Proving once again that truth is much more entertaining than fiction!
