1. Be gainfully employed. (Gen 2:15) As a man before you think of getting married, ensure you have something you're doing.

2. You must obtain parental consent and church blessing

3. Marry a fellow believer. 2 Cor 6:14-17
4. Involve God into the home and fellowship with Him
5. Law of departure most be at work (leaving family and cleaving with spouse)
