Just had the most breathtaking weekend in #Colorado. @stephaniebutzer started our adventure in Silverthorne Friday to escape the heat.

We got to see some of the most beautiful lakes on our way to Independence Pass as we got up at dawn Saturday.
Caught our breath at the top of the pass on our way to #Aspen. Gave Layla some time to play in the snow ⛄️
The runoff from this past season is insane. Creeks are becoming raging rivers in the mountains.
Layla lived her best life this weekend 😍
Finally we arrived at our destination: #MaroonBells
Made our way up to #CraterLake. Layla loved her couple rounds of swimming 🏔🌲
