All of a sudden, lots of news. Why? For the first time in a long time, China is having trouble pushing around America
You can say my thesis here is oversimplified. And it very well might be. It's Twitter after all and we don't have much space to write. Yet the general concept is correct.
I've been studying U.S./China politics for some time. Had my introduction to Asian politics while serving
as a board member of the U.S./Philippines Society in Washington, D.C., from 2013-2017. Many retired U.S. diplomats who formerly served in Asia were on that board. It was an interesting experience, learned a lot from them.
Among other sources, I subscribe to numerous commercial
news feeds and have access to satellite downlink video that often keeps me up late at night watching world events.
The news coming out of Asian sources paints a picture of a China that is used to getting it's way and all of a sudden is in utter shock
as Trump is standing up to them for the first time in the history of several U.S. Presidential administrations.
All of a sudden we are in uncharted territory with U.S./China relations, folks. Keep an eye on the region. I believe the news will soon be taking center stage.
