Packed house for Bernie Sanders in Littleton, NH. Called Trump a racist and sexist in his opening remarks. More tonight @MyNBC5

Says he wants the VT Legislature to consider a $15/per hour minimum wage when the session restarts

Now talking Medicare for all.

Senator Sanders has been talking about healthcare. He mentioned his trip with diabetics to Canada to purchase insulin. His comments about the NRA drew applause

He is now talking income inequality. He says he will he opening up the floor for questions soon.

(I know his is an ice cream social but it seems like less than half of the folks here are eating ice cream)

Bernie’s final line before taking questions is about income inequality.

Sen Sanders says he will make sure the wealthy and powerful pay taxes. The senator repeated his oft repeated call and response:

“How many taxes did Amazon pay last year?”

“Zero!” the crowd yelled

In response to a question on affordable housing in Vermont and N.H., Senator Sanders responds about the issues of gentrification

Bernie is now responding to a question (from a Burlington resident) on allegations the DNC rigged the 2016 election against him. He touted that super delegates are now out of the first ballot in Iowa.

(Added that he will be returning to Burlington, VT later today)

Bernie now talking addiction in response to question on the opioid crisis. “We need to invest in prevention” adds Medicare for all would help ease crisis

Final question is on environmental regulations. How can Bernie return the US to normalcy on these issues?

“I happen to be, if you check my record, one of the strongest environmentalists in the US Congress” Bernie says to applause

“It’s going to be a very busy week” Bernie says of his first week in office if he wins presidency
