1) The Left attempts to destroy all that is good about capitalism instead of modeling what works.
Libertarian John Mackey founded Whole Foods in 1980 with a unique business philosophy of "Conscious Capitalism", what I call free market capitalism with a heart.
2) Given its phenomenal financial success & almost 20 yrs on the "Best Place to Work" list, Whole Foods was a model top brands tried to emulate with limited success.
Liberal leaders at Twitter, Google, Amazon & others, turned it into a tool to deliver social justice.
3) The moral of the story, it's about Leadership. One that has a good heart & knows how to balance making money, selling great product & making a positive impact on people's lives.
Imagine the blissful state of our country if political leaders followed this philosophy.
4) All good things come to an end...the 2017 sale of Whole Foods to Amazon made business sense but shattered Mackey's decades long philosophy.

5) The "Conscious Capitalism" framework can work but only if executed by a leader with a big heart who balances the scales in a free market world.
