Gujarat High Court granted bail to Amit shah 3 months after his arrest, on 29 Oct 2010

However next day,when courts were closed,Justice Aftab Alam took a petition at his residence to bar him from entering Gujarat.

Shah was thus forcibly exiled from the state frm 2010 to 2012

Aftab Alam ordered a CBI inquiry by the Gujarat Police into the fake encounter case of gangster Sohrabuddin Sheikh and his wife Kausar Bi

Aftab Alam, the head of the bench also ordered a CBI inquiry into the murder case of Tulsiram Prajapati main witness in the Sohrabuddin case

Usually CBI cases are ordered on state Govt Request

SC or HC will not override State Govt as law & order is a state subject

Only in Extreme cases - SC/HC will override the stte govt

In Gujarat - almost all cases were handed over to CBI controlled by center/UPA
