I do not know if American Promise or The Fulcrum is directly funded directly by the Koch network. I do know that all efforts for a Convention of the States for whatever reason is at best naïve, incredibly dangerous, and will be totally controlled by the Koch Network.
Such an amendment must be passed by 38 state legislatures. The GOP controls 31 of them. What kind of ‘reforms’ do you think would pass?
There is absolutely no Constitutional or legal precedence that would stop any Convention, appointed by at least 34 state legislatures, from writing what every amendment they want, regardless of the original reason the Convention was caused. – the Runaway Convention.
