I would like to offer a short review of a full node bundle created by @mynodebtc . I find it very user friendly to install on a Raspberry Pi 4 and includes Lightning Network, Electrum Server, an Explorer, VPN and others. Here are the steps I took:

Starting from mynodebtc.com/download I downloaded the image for RP4 and flashed to SD card. Put the SD card in the RP4 and attached a 1TB external HDD. Booted the RP and went to my computer and accessed the router (usually 192.168.0.1) to see the node local IP.

Accessing the local ip from browser I saw that the node immediately recognized the external HDD and started to download the blockchain data. Didn't have to do anything else just wait. The sync took about 27 hours in total. After finishing it prompted me to this screen:

From here my first desire was to check Electrum Server. The creator says it's using electrs server which I understand is very efficient. Indexing the blockchain took another 24 hours. But this enabled the Bitcoin Explorer and enabled me to connect my Electrum Wallet to the node.

In order to start Electrum Wallet and connect only to the mynode I used this command:
electrum --oneserver --server 192.168.0.102:50002:s
You can replace the ip with your node local ip.
Now Electrum does not connect to any external servers and can be used privately.

Next off I started LND where I could create a new wallet or use an old wallet, and got access to different apps created by awesome Lightning devs!

I'd like to finish off by saying I also like the monetization aspect of this node: It offers a free version for the community and a paid version where you get updates and vpn and other things. I think this is a better strategy for other full nodes bundles.

I also must mention I do not know the developer, I am in no way affiliated to him, I just tested out this full node bundle and liked it a lot. It's very user friendly and open-source. I'd like other people to have a look at his work as well.

--oneserver --server 192.168.0.102:50002:s
