First up, First Draft's senior investigator Rory Smith will present preliminary insights from his research report on the disinformation landscape in Argentina 2/7
Next: @ludtke and @lauzommer from @Comprova and @Chequeado, collaborative initiatives curbing the spread of disinformation around elections in Brazil and Argentina, will share their experience and learnings. 3/7
Founder of @redaccioncomar, @chaniguyot, will then host a session on misinformation with a game of: "Verdadero/Falso". 4/7
Then @EdisonLanza, @ludtke, @dodiedood, @Sebauyanet and @ilusa_Gomez, all from different collaborative verification projects across South America, are coming together to speak about prepping for election disinformation in #LatAm: 5/7
. @SamGregory, program director @witnessorg, will then close off day 1 with a lecture on the future of disinformation: 'What to expect from the future of disinformation? #deepfakes, audio fakes -- and more.' 6/7
And then day 2 will see a panel chaired by @infosquattar on how to talk people out of sharing misinformation and monitoring and verification workshops.
