Some may recall of my recovery of #DSX after launch on the #STP2 Falcon Heavy. DSX is a space weather mission doing stuff similar to #IMAGE. The signal from the mission has grown rather interesting. Have a look and listen and let me know what you think?
The mystery grows. The carrier suddenly switched off.
TLE is close but not a really nice fit. Needed to do some tweaking to get a great fit. Before and after some tweaks to MA, MM and Ecc.
I suspect #DSX is locking to a ground station. While rising in my west out over the Pacific it switched on and remained on until it faded into the dark forest to the east... The Doppler curve is somewhat not as expected too. More analysis to come.
@AFResearchLab what's the present status of #DSX? Very peculiar S-band downlink noted.
#DSX undergoes a dramatic 'transition'. A few minutes later the carrier switches off. The s/c is suppose to be 3 axis stabilized so this strange carrier activity may be electrical load related.
