Well. I just watched this. My thoughts.
These guys have clearly taken advantage of the time they spent away from socials to think about just how terribly they handled this following #MyAlwaysExperience.
I like that the beginning is an acknowledgement of the fact that people complained....and there was none of the “what are you complaining about” that we are so accustomed to.
The shots of them in the lab also feels like an acknowledgement that their products were in need of a second look.
And the “we hear you, we support you” bit?? Heh who is handling your PR? Because that was what needed to be said!!
The visuals of strong, determined women are everything. Because these are the women that spoke up during #MyAlwaysExperience.
And the best thing is that there is clearly a new product in the works but the ad isn’t focused on that. There is a super brief tease but that’s it. I really like that.
Because if they were like we heard you but LOOK NEW PADS that would be super disingenuous.
I had written these guys off but I’m actually interested in seeing what happens next, honestly.
