Today someone sent me a message informing me that I didn't hate someone enough, in a public enough fashion. I'd made the mistake of thinking I could affiliate with people without having to pick up their mantle and answer a call to war to be accepted. I was wrong.

Thread

This isn't the first and wont be the last time this happens to me. I see nuance in things. Because I do I attempt to be diplomatic. I don't often attack I look for resolution. Turns out that's not something desirable in a lynch mob.

I've had SEVERE anxiety as a result of the constant calls to "join the fight" to denounce, to burn bridges, to DESTROY THE ENEMY.

YOU DON'T OWN ME

I've sat in tears assessing if I'd gone wrong, if I'd betrayed someone by not attacking another for their honour. I owe my voice to no one and I won't be guilted into you gaining it. HEAR THAT!

I have a preference for resolution. If you don't like that you can scroll past my presence on the internet you don't have to engage me or consume my content. I've been manipulated before and I WON'T BE WEAPONIZED.

If you don't like my approach to interactions don't adopt it but don't tell me how to behave to suit your standard. I wont be abused into behaviors to appease someone elses purposes EVER AGAIN.

The end

PS FUCK OFF 🖕
