I get so tired of lame excuses rooted in 20-year-old tech and sloppy thinking. E.g. "We must use Jira for remote teams because stickies..." Many collaborative tools exist here in the 21st century: 1/5
Everything from Google docs to miro.com (on which you can put a complete virtual card wall holding thousands of virtual stickies if you want) to 100" touch-screen monitors that can be ganged together to make even bigger surfaces. 2/5
The technical vastness of the future is here. Open your eyes! 3/5
If you honestly think that you can be successful at remote Agile using antiquated tools or tools built for other purposes (Jira is a bug tracker), and can't be bothered to research new ones, 4/5
and can't put even a few minutes of effort or creativity into imagining how a very effective simple process like stickies on the wall can't be implemented using the tools at hand, how can you possible succeed? 5/5
