Should have been #MakingWorkVisible today but didn’t 😬 I’ve been ill. Small child is ill too.

Made baked potatoes for tea in the micro then the oven. Defrosted some mince and had chilli too.

Put away the washing, did another couple of loads. Snuggled and read Malory Towers to the little one. (I can’t remember what happens and I’m super keen to get to the end!).

Didn’t parent much today, mostly dozed and cuddled. But did cook, wash and keep an eye on them. Messaged some friends and swapped concerns with them. #MakingWorkVisible

Chatted with my husband about the food we are eating this week - he wrote a list before I shopped on Friday but we’ve both forgotten what was on it 🤦🏽‍♀️ #MakingWorkVisible

I thought a fair bit about how to get through this week given I’m not 100% (hopefully will be much better tomorrow) and it’s budget week. Also signed off on a PR and read some articles colleagues sent me. #MakingWorkVisible

No sewing today - cleared my sewing pile last Monday 💪🏼 #MakingWorkVisible

It’s basically impossible for me not to get sick when this snuggly little monkey has a bug.

She’s now in bed reading a book. Big one is practicing with his new Nerf gun. He’s trying to aim it through the hole where our door handle should be. (Prev. people who lived in our house put locks on bedroom doors and we needed to crowbar them off when doors accidentally locked).

She is calpoled up and I’ve duly recorded the time I gave her it. It would be really good if she gets a decent night’s sleep and wakes up better tomorrow 😊
