Jesus didn’t influence Culture by being like the culture. Yes He sat with thieves drunkards and whoremongers; but He did not move, talk or think like them.
Instead, [with great love, power and soundness of Kingdom perspective] He was the Alpha person in every setting — helping all who were in need.
We do not shape culture by living OUTSIDE it; we shape culture from WITHIN it. We do not shape culture by living LIKE IT; we shape culture AS SALT & LIGHT.
We do not shape culture by moving, talking and thinking as it does; we shape culture by MOVING LIKE CHRIST — with great love, power and soundness of kingdom perspective.
Be wise as serpents — but don’t move like serpents. Be like sheep amidst wolves — not a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
