Very important results confirm what I have suspected: SARS-CoV-2 survives very well in aerosols. No measurable decay over 12+ hours. Careful work by good team.

Yes, this in the lab, not in the wild, but I expect survival to be at least as good in real respiratory fluid and at other RHs. It doesn't matter because ventilation is now the limiting factor since residence time is 1-2 hours in homes, less in public buildings.

This is in microscopic droplets, mainly 1 to 3 microns in size, which can remain in air for 1.5 to 12 hours.

I would like to see replicates, but I doubt it will change the conclusions.
