We owe so much to the brave folks who have put their lives on the line to see us through this crisis.

We asked #TeamJoe to nominate their hero — so we can highlight some of the amazing people who have stepped up to see us through the pandemic. Here are some of their stories ⬇️

Alec is a city policeman in Summersville who’s a type 1 diabetic — making him higher risk for serious complications from COVID-19. He’s working seven days a week and long hours.

Alec: we’re so grateful for your hard work. You’re keeping your community safe — you are a hero.

Alice has been tirelessly making masks for a local retirement center and grocery store — donating them free of charge.

Alice: your hard work has not gone unnoticed. You are a hero.

Jan is a produce clerk at a grocery store in Louisville, Kentucky. She’s putting her life on the line to keep her community fed and make sure they have what they need.

On behalf of #TeamJoe and your community — thank you, Jan. You are a hero.

Sebastian, Sydney, and Blake made 40 Easter baskets for other kids whose parents may not have had the means to get them anything this year due to the crisis.

These little heroes made other kids in their neighborhood smile — despite these difficult times.

Brian is an MRI Technician in West Virginia. He puts on his scrubs and heads to work — putting those in need above himself.

Thank you, Brian. You’re helping those who need it every day when you step foot into that hospital. You are a hero.

These stories give us hope that we will emerge from this crisis stronger than we ever were before.
