Trump just repeated his obscene lie that Ivanka Trump "has created many jobs."

"I think you got up to almost 15 million people," Trump said -- a total that's more than twice the entire number created during his term before the coronavirus hit

For the second time in less than 24 hours Trump has invited assorted corporate CEOs to the White House to give speeches for reasons that are not entirely clear

Trump's face matches Ivanka's outfit

Asked how he explains that the number of coronavirus cases didn't go down to zero on its own like he said it would in late February, Trump points out that eventually it will in fact go down to zero

As part of his case that he saved hundreds of thousands of lives, Trump is now citing made-up experts who he claims said that the coronavirus wouldn't impact the US (no experts thought this)

Trump says he wants blue states to give him "sanctuary-city adjustments" in exchange for federal financial relief

REPORTER: Experts say the US needs to do 5 million tests per day to safely reopen. Why doesn't your testing plan go that far?

TRUMP: "We inherited a very broken test." (The coronavirus didn't even exist until nearly 3 years into his term as president)

Trump says the US is "getting very close" to conducting 5 million tests per day (the US is currently conducting about 200,000 tests per day, so this is a lie)

Trump on why he thinks it's a good idea for states to reopen economies without a coronavirus vaccine or even effective treatments available: "I think what happens is it's going to go away."

Trump seems to be blindsided by a question about whether he's talked to the families of any coronavirus victims besides those of his friends and rambles his way through an answer. (It doesn't appear he has.)

Trump concludes the April 28 #TrumpPressBriefing by indicating he still hasn't figured out that the 1918 flu pandemic didn't happen in 1917

Trump's delusional thinking about the US testing problem is straight out of his playbook from January and February, when he was saying the coronavirus would go away on its own "like a miracle" vox.com/2020/4/29/2124…
