Loved the talk by @mrinalikamath & Julianna Murphy on "Designing for tech you don't get"!
"Design keeps the trajectory of innovation centered on real people, not monetary gain." - Julianna
(I also loved how they decided to refer to this as "unique spaces"!)

"Design and User Research have the unique ability to be able to uncover creative solutions to technical constraints which can often hinder innovation!"

Identify allies who can help. This will often be domain experts or people who've been around, and when you ask the right questions.
There will be a lot of company-specific knowledge that no one will have documented/onboarded you with because of the speed at which things happen.
Julianne gave an example of one such ally explaining a concept to her for 3 hours.
Followed by Mrinali perfectly capturing why these SUPER smart people will take time out to help you hit the ground running :)
Learn as much as you can from these people!

"Stop and make sure you understand why you're working on something and check that all the user stories, needs & features, etc. ACTUALLY map up to that.
Once established, this *why* is what you can use to validate your work and grow your credibility over time"
#RemoteDesignWeek
How do you keep up with the⚡️speed of development?
"You know when to stop. And once you do stop, you have a way to test to see if what you already have solves the problem completely"
This is something that Julianne used in her team.

"Avoid burnout and don't be too intimidated by smart people around you, know your value and strengths as a designer.
You're also learning a lot, every day there are things which you now know, that you didn't know.
Trust that you are getting smarter everyday😌"

They also made this 🔥🔥 cheat sheet for the same!!
