1/ Following @neilconneryitv's report last night on ITV News and #harrydunn's mum's call for resignations, the UK Govt unsurprisingly now engaged in a last ditched attempt to protect an impossible political position through their chief spinner in the FCO @roxley.
2/ They volunteer, out of the blue, after 9 months, that @DominicRaab was unaware of the crisis before 12 Sept and that @BorisJohnson was only made aware after 15 Sept. If that is true, then they would disclose documents in support. They refuse to do so. We believe it is not true
3/ Docs disclosed in fact prove that both @DominicRaab's private secretary and @SMcDonaldFCO private secretary amongst others were notified of the problem in a memo on 30 August. Do the spinners really expect us to believe that Raab and Johnson were not informed there and then?
4/ In the middle of the Brexit frenzy, desperate for a trade deal with USA @DominicRaab and @trussliz enjoying @USAmbUK's hospitality while #harrydunn's family were preparing for his funeral, they expect us to believe that the civil service mandarins were keeping all this to
5/ themselves. Pull the other one guys. We weren't born yesterday. The UK Govt pretends to care about Harry's family, gaslighting and misleading the nation. Continually offering a further meeting with Mr Raab. What they fail to tell the nation is that they let #annesacoolas
6/ leave unlawfully and have been involved in a desperate attempt to cover it up ever since. #HarryDunn's parents have met with @DominicRaab 3 times. I hold regular meetings with his team. Not once have they bothered to tell the truth. Instead they lie and conceal. And then
7/ when forced to do so by the media, volunteer a new piece of information, not to the parents, but to the media in a fumbled attempt to explain away an embarrassing photo. Dialogue is good. But it has to be based on a platform of truthful exchanges. The UK Govt have lied to us
8/ Happy to talk to them anytime, but all those responsible for allowing #annesacoolas to leave unlawfully and then trying to cover it up will be held to account. If @roxley or any other advisers wish to engage in a genuine discussion towards that end, you know where I am.
