Fake Claim #22
VEDAS SAY HINDU GODS EAT BEEF
This is the most vulgar allegation so far and we don't need any outsider to forge fake theories when we have these so-called Hindus who can do to it 100x better for few dollars.
That's why I'm taking this before completing #21
In Vedas, carnality has been clearly prohibited. In many Vedic mantras, there is clearly prohibition of killing any creature and eating it, such as
Yajurveda 1.1:
"O man! Animals which are cow, they are never capable of violence."
1/n
Yajurveda 40.7
Those who know the relative soul of God as equal to their soul i.e. like their own interest, likewise in others
AtharvaVeda 8.6.23
Those people who eat raw & cooked meat available from the destruction of males & females, embryos & eggs, we should oppose them
2/n
Atharva Veda 6.140.2:
"O teeth you eat rice, eat barley, eat urad and eat sesame. This is part of the delightful food items for you. Do not you ever commit violence of any male and female."
3/n
Atharva Veda 10.1.29:
"The killing of innocent people is definitely a big mistake, do not kill our cows, horses and men."
Through these verses clearly it has been conveyed that according to the Vedas, there is prohibition of carnality.
Now let's see about cow slaughter
4/n
But first understand that the use of "Han" metal in the word goghana गोघ्न, has two meanings, violence and speed. In Goghana, there is the meaning of the motion or the movement, the movement, the realization. The main value is to get it, that is, to get the best cow.
5/n
In Rigveda 1.114.10 it is written that, whoever is a goghana (the person who kills cow), he is a lowly man. You should stay away from him.
Many instances of the Vedas show that 'hn' is also used for approaching or approaching someone. Like in, AtharvaVeda 6.1.1
6/n
In AV 6.1.1 husband has a message to go to his wife which is the appropriate meaning and not to kill his wife. Therefore the use of violence in the wrong perspective is same as deliberately selling your pen for few dollars to spread rumors, especially ignoring status of cow.

Translation of Yajurveda 8.43 by Griffith:
"Idâ, delightful, worshipful, loveable, splendid, shining One,
Inviolable, full of sap, the Mighty One, most glorious,
These are thy names, O Cow: tell thou the Gods that I act
righteously."
Here it says the names of cow as...
8/n
..Ida, Ranta, Havya, Kamya, Chandra, Jyoti, Aditi, Saraswati, Mahi, Vishthi & Anganya.
There's a whole hymn in RigVeda 6.28 in the praise of cow:
YajurVeda 13.43: Do not slaughter the cow
"Forming thyself with joints in proper order, harm not the
Cow, Aditi widely ruling!"
9/n
In the Rig Veda 10.87.16 we find:
"One who partakes of human flesh, the flesh of a horse or of another animal and deprives others from milk by slaughtering cows ; if such a fiend does not desist then even cut off their heads by your powers Oh king!"
10/n
YajurVeda 6.11:
"Pashunstraayethaam"
Protect the animals
Yajurveda 14.8:
"Dwipaadava Chatushpaatpaahi"
Protect the bipeds & quadrupeds!
Yajurveda 11.83:
"Urjam no dhehi dwipade chatushpade"
May all bipeds & quadrupeds gain strength & nourishment
11/n
Yajurveda 13.49:
"Ghrtam duhaanaamaditim janaayaagne maa himsiheeh"
Don't kill cows &bulls who always deserve to be protected
Rigveda 7.56.17:
"Aare gohaa nrhaa vadho vo astu"
Cow slaughter is a crime equivalent to murder, those who commit this crime should be punished
12/n
Rigveda 1.164.40 or Atharva Veda 7.73.11 or Atharva Veda 9.10.20:
"Sooyavasaad bhagavatee hi bhooyaa atho vayam bhagvantah syaama
Addhi trnamaghnye vishwadaaneem piba shuddhamudakamaacharantee"
Meaning and Explanation:
13/n
Rigveda 1.164.27:
"Aghnyeyam saa vardhataam mahate soubhagaaya"
Cow – The aghnya – brings us health and prosperity
Rigveda 5.83.8:

There should be excellent facility for pure water for Aghnya Cow
14/n
Yajurveda 12.73:

The Aghnya cows and bulls bring you prosperity
Rigveda 8.101.15:
"Maa gaamanaagaamaditim vadhishta"
Do not kill the cow. Cow is innocent and Aditi – that ought not to be cut into pieces
15/n
Yajurveda 30.18:
"Antakaaya goghaatam"

Atharvaveda 1.16.4:
"Yadi no gaam hansi yadyashwam yadi poorusham
Tam tvaa seesena vidhyaamo yatha no so aveeraha"

17/n
Also I give you some historical accounts to support all these Vedic statements:
[1] India is a strange country. People do not kill any living creatures, do not keep pigs and fowl, and do not sell live cattle.
—Faxian, 4th/5th century CE [Chinese pilgrim to India]
18/n
[2] Hindus, like early Christians and Manichaeans, forbade the killing and eating of meat.
—Abū Rayḥān Al-Biruni, 1017–1030 CE [Persian visitor to India]
19/n
[3] They would not kill an animal on any account, not even a fly, or a flea, or a louse, or anything, in fact, that has life; for they say these have all souls, and it would be sin to do so.
—Marco Polo, III.20, 13th century [Venetian traveler to India]
And I rest my case!
