You might have come across people who map and study the ORBAT of Indian Army but seldom Police.
So I've decided to map various Police units across the nation (commando/armed/STF). For the same I'll be using #PoliceORBAT for my post.

Provincial Armed Constabulary - UP Police.
• 33 bttlns - 273 Armed Coys & 6 SDRF coys, but due to Manpower shortage 225 Armed Coys and 3 SDRF coys are active.
• 3 bttlns (27 Coys) are on active duty in sensitive areas.
• PAC also has 4 commando Coys.

• Lucknow metro guarded by 32 PAC
• Greater Noida-Noida Metro guarded by 49 PAC
• Plans are ON to raise 2 NBC Coys in PAC, although some Coys have Hazmat suits.

Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC), Mewar Bhil Corps (MBC) and others.
• RAC - 14 Bttln, MBC - Bttln, Female Bttln - 1 Bttln, IR Bttln - 1
• RAC has a rich history, some units also participated in the '65 Indo-Pak war.
• Some RAC Bttln are more than 120 yrs old

• 3 RAC bttlns are deployed in Delhi for security Duties. They usually do sentry duties at houses of Supreme Courts judges. Fascinatingly BJP's HQ HAS RAC's protection
• 13 RAC has got jail duties.
