When I come to Homecoming, I come ALL the way home. #PWRHomecoming šŸ‡µšŸ‡

Whenever I watch Southeast Asian wrestling, it has one goal to be a success to me on a personal level, & it's the passion from the wrestlers. I am always confident in the fans to be passionate, it's the ultimate grassroots setting. Suffice to say, Homecoming was a huge success.

There wasn't a native wrestler on this card who I didn't come away from this feeling like they treated this show as a big deal and gave their best effort to. No doubt getting worldwide names on hand elevated everyone's game. It gave me fond similar memories of my own wrestling.

In particular I thought all 3 of the last matches delivered. Crystal continues to be a shining SEA women's wrestler & Chris Panzer was a well deserved winner in the title match, he seemed to be at a next level compared to past watches & thought he compared favorably even to Cobb.

Of course the main event was the main match of the show, and I loved it just on paper. The mega ripped and tattooed star TJP vs. JDL, and I mean no disrespect but look at that haircut, let's be real. (I kid) For real though on paper it's a perfect hometown hero underdog story.

TJP is an incredibly well rounded in-ring performer and the perfect type of guy for someone still growing to face off again. I'm certain Jake really gained a lot just from getting to wrestle someone at that level & JDL can take from this match so many good things he still holds.

I also love the respect shown by TJP for working this kind of match too, particularly when he went for the Inasal Lock (I made Inasal just before this show. No lies told so I was on JDL's side) to set up JDL going for the Detonation Kick. The crowd went back & forth, were great.

Obviously the ending was strong and hit the nationalistic tones they were going for with this show, with the crowd chanting "Philippines" loudly after TJP cut a heated promo going from his horrible Tagalog to his disgust at wearing a mask and pretending to be Japanese (Same).

So yeah, good show. Just under hours from pre-show match to closer, you get a lot there for the price and only hope the show was a financial success. They had the video wall, not half bad commentary and it felt like a big deal. For a fledgling promotion they really did great.

Big shoutout to @pwrofficial for representing for the Philippines and all of Southeast Asian wrestling and showing what makes me love wrestling in the first place after all these years, and I have seen and done A LOT. I'm always grateful for seeing these guys and girls grow.

I really do wanna wrestle @SenyoritoJDL someday. You make SEA wrestling and the Philippines proud. Excellent work, amigo.
