HM @Sadiya_farouq accompanied by HM of State for Labour and Employment, @fkeyamo and DG @nemanigeria visited Delta state to commiserate with the Government and victims of Ogbeogonogo Market fire on 26 May 2020

HM @Sadiya_farouq "extended her deepest sympathy and regrets to these hardworking Nigerians who have lost so much to this fire."

HM @Sadiya_farouq appreciated HE. Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa for leading from the front and providing immediate relief.

She also flagged off the distribution of relief materials to the affected traders. The items presented include: 120 sewing machines, 100 hair dryers, 80 grindng machines, 625 bags of rice, 625 bags of maize, 625 bags of beans, 31 bags of salt, 63 kegs of vegetable oil..

Traders also received 85 cartons of Tin tomatoes, 56 cartons of seasoning, 1,875 bags of cement, 300 bundles of roofing sheets, 300 packs of zinc nails, 625 bags of 3 inches nails and 750 pieces of ceiling boards. #makingimpact

Speaking during the presentation of the relief materials, HM @Sadiya_farouq told the traders that "when there is hope there is life." #makingimpact

@FMHDSD is working with relevant agencies and stakeholders in evolving new strategies for an All-Hazard approach that will prioritize fire prevention and mitigation. #makingimpact
